2022 Man of the Year

Paul Minnich has proudly served as President of K9 Konnection since 2021 and was honored as 2022 Man of the Year for his dedication to the community.

Reflecting on the recognition, Paul humbly shares:

“I want to thank everyone for the kind words regarding my achievement with K9 Konnection and personally. This award belongs to all of us — the supporters, staff, volunteers, foster families, adopters, and our local veterinarians who make this organization thrive. Most of all, I’m forever grateful to K9 Konnection’s founder, Shirley Peters, who brought this vision to life.”

Throughout his adult life, Paul has been a voice for the voiceless — first as an advocate for those struggling with addiction and mental illness, and now for the dogs who cannot speak for themselves. His spirituality fuels his values, passion, and commitment to kindness toward all beings, whether on two legs or four.
